Jimi Hendrix in the making

Image hosted by Photobucket.com
For the past 2 weeks or so I have been really busy with my guitar classes. It was my childhood dream to learn Banjo Eli, but I can settle with a guitar. I’m really proud of my guitar, since that’s what people do with it when they don’t know how to play. Here’s a picture of it, for all of you to drool and then drown in it . . . ; - )

Thanx for the compliment prasad !

I was told in my guitar classes that once you know how to play a guitar, you can get a hang of the keyboard easily...

It might interest you to know, my man, that the first string instrument John Lennon learnt to play was the banjo. That's why he was playing banjo chords even after he got a guitar! Thankfully, that changed after he met Paul and George.

Good luck with your guitar- it feels great to be able to play :)

Good luck.!! People who are interested in music / Play music are great.! You are one I think.

I've always wanted to learn some instrument, but unfortunately never had the opportunity.

I play the bongo drums ( bought from ebay) and my daughters are delighted to see me play.!!

since you have your mom's guitar use that. initially you will be breaking lots of strings and making a mess with your guitar. once you are good with it get a new one.

a new guitar comes for rs.1400 and above...

Hi Srikar...in here first time from Sophi's site. I'd love to learn to play the guitar too. Please could you recommend any place where this is taught in the AshokNagar/KK Nagar/West Mambalam area? Thanks in advance!
